Frank Doelger, Executive Producer of Game of ThronesJohn Adams, and Rome, talks about his career journey on Thu, April 25, 7pm at the ’62 Center.

When Doelger left Williams College, he had no idea where his life and career would take him, let alone how his encounters with a liberal arts education might inform his journey. In conversation with Rhon Manigault-Bryant, Frank will reflect on over thirty years in the film and television industries. Join us for a wide-ranging conversation about fantasy, artistic inspiration, the collaborative nature of creating, and the uncanny pathways back to ones beginnings.

Hoosic River Watershed Assoc. invites everyone to RIVERFEST at the Spruces Town Park, Main St., W’town on Saturday, May 11, 11am-4pm.  A $5 raffle tix (available at MountainOne bank in Wtown) admits 1 adult. Riverfest admission is $8, includes a raffle tix!

Seeking Grant nominations for DeMayo “Bright Futures Innovation” Award, deadline May 1

The Fund for Williamstown seeks nominations for the DeMayo Bright Futures Innovation Award. The award recipient will receive $1,000 to further the innovative work of the recipient to benefit our community. The award must be used for a charitable purpose. Deadline for nominations is May 1.

The award recognizes organizations, institutions, businesses or individuals who create new approaches to solving community challenges and/or who enhance life in Williamstown through innovative programs that do not currently exist in the community.

This award is presented to those demonstrating an exceptional degree of innovation and creativity, resulting in significant community impact. It recognizes non-traditional approaches to solving community challenges and/or to enhancing life in our community.
