SWCA celebrates 100 yrs of Women Suffrage with historian speaker Barbara Winslow-7pm, Tue, June 11 at Sweetwood, Wtown

South Williamstown Community Association hosts Barbara Winslow, professor emerita of Womens & Gender Studies at Brooklyn College and the founder and Director Emerita of the Shirley Chisholm Project of Brooklyn Women’s activism to speak on Tues, June 11, at 7pm at Sweetwood, 1611  Cold Spring Road.

Bette Craig, SWCA president,  “In this talk, Barbara will be giving us some background on the long struggle for voting rights for women and outlining some of the other programs the Northern Berkshire Suffrage Centennial Coalition is planning for the next year.”
