W’town Street Lighting Listening Session: 7pm on Wed, 9/18 @ W’town Police Station

The Williamstown COOL Committee invites the public to a Street Lighting Listening Session to solicit input from residents about street lighting as we embark on plans to replace old inefficient street lighting in Williamstown.  The COOL Committee will provide an update regarding the planned lighting audit & the timetable for replacing old, inefficient street lighting with quality LED lighting.  The public is invited to ask questions and provide input regarding the initiative. The goal of the lighting project is to improve lighting quality, save energy and reduce costs.

The project is a collaborative effort of the Town of Williamstown, the Williamstown Fire District & the Williamstown COOL Committee. The Street Lighting Listening Session takes place at 7:00pm, WED, Sept. 18 at the new W’town Police Station, 825 Simonds Road. Contact COOL Committee members: Stephanie Boyd- sboyd@williams.edu  or Nancy Nylen- nancy.nylen1@gmail.com
