In addition to being the only open-admission, socially conscious animal shelter in Berkshire County, Berkshire Humane Society has several programs to help keep animals out of the shelter and in their homes, where they belong. SafePet is one of those programs, providing up to month of free boarding to pets of Berkshire County residents enrolled in a program of a SafePet partnering organization.
