Come downtown/Spring St. for FREE fun & creative activity in a street fair format. Musicians, Art, Art-making, Dance, vendors in the downtown Williamstown Cultural District. More info below…

All activity will happen against a backdrop of a vibrant local artist show, Coming Into The Light, displayed in shop windows along Spring and Water Streets. Many shops and restaurants will be open, and Spoon (frozen Delicacies, newly opened in 2020) will be offering a special Sunday Sundae for the day.

W’town Theatre Festival opens July 6 w/ OUTSIDE ON MAIN: CELEBRATING THE BLACK RADICAL IMAGINATION: NINE SOLO PLAYS

Discover the power and intimacy of the solo play with this series of three shows centering and celebrating Black artists and their voices through theatrical storytelling. Each show consists of three, 30-minute world premieres, created by Black writers, written for actors of color, and brought to life by directors Wardell Julius ClarkCandis C. Jones, and Colette Robert on the Front Lawn of the ‘62 Center for Theatre and Dance. Guest curated by Tony Award-nominated director and playwright Robert O’Hara.

Free Pipe Organ Concert 3pm, Wed, June 30 at All Saints’ Berkshires Episcopal, N. Adams

Organist Dr. Matthew McConnell is offering a FREE concert program. The theme is: Music by Nation: Folk Songs, Hymns and Anthems. Concerts will be held indoors at the church.

Green River Cleanup Walk: POSTPONED to 1:00pm, Saturday, July 24. Park at Hart Garage on Rt. 7.

The South Williamstown Community Association & the Hoosic River Watershed Association invite you to take part in a cleanup walk along the Green River. Park at the Hart Garage…cross the road…walk down driveway at the Thaisz’s house, 340 New Ashford Road.  W’town will provide garbage bags and arrange for disposal.  Wear rubber boots or water shoes, gloves, & spray yourself with insect repellant.

The Town of Williamstown has for the last few years been addressing the debris washing into the river from a former town landfill located behind the Hart farm on New Ashford Road (Route 7), but there is still work to be done.
