W’town Town Hall asks folks using area along construction route of Mohawk Bike Path at The Spruces, Linear Park, Cole Field to honor signage directions, construction workers, & to stop removing necessary sedimentation controls, survey markers, etc. Continued abusive behavior & language toward the workers will lead to closure of The Spruces until bike path opens this fall.

 

W’town Memorial Day Parade – Mon, May 30 – starts at 11am at the bottom of Spring St up to Field Park.

Hosted by the Williamstown American Legion Post 152.  Parade route starts at the bottom of Spring Street and marches up Spring Street, west on Main Street, ending at Field Park.

Both W’town Select Board & DIRE Comm. meet off-schedule tonight (5.26.22) at 6:00pm.

VOTE tomorrow to fill 2 open seats on Fire District Prudential Committee.  Edward Briggs is retiring after serving for 37  years.  Richard Reynolds resigned last October.  John Notsley chairs the Committee, Dave Moresi is Vice-Chair, Lindsey Neathawk was elected last year, the first woman to serve on the Prudential Committee.

Route: Riverside on Willow Dell and Miner St. in N. Adams. This area
of the river is contained within the flood chutes, so there will not
be an opportunity to get into the river.
