Williamstown Fire Station now OPEN at 581 Main St– Chief urges drivers take care as fire trucks enter/exit this new location on rt 2!

W’town Fire District is always welcoming new members.  Williams College students are eligible to join. The Chief invites the community to visit the station Mondays 6:30-9pm to observe a training and meet the crew.

Williamstown Fire District nomination papers available for District Moderator & 1 seat on Prudential Committee- DEADLINE April 7.

W’town Fire District nomination papers can be picked up at Williamstown Town Hall in the Town Clerk’s office.  30 signatures required, in ink, no electronic signatures and returned to Town Clerk by April 7.  Election on May 26, polls open 4-7pm at WES, followed by Fire District Annual Mtg at 7:30pm.

The Prudential Comm. is a 5-person board responsible for operation & fiscal oversight of the Fire District. Members serve a 3-year term.

The Moderator serves a 3-year term.
