Habitat for Humanity – Christmas Trees fundraiser underway for Holiday Walk Showcase!

Local businesses, organizations, schools, churches, YOU (community members) are invited to purchase miniature artificial trees for $10 to decorate & then contribute to the showcase to be raffled off at the First Congregational Church, W’town 1-6pm during the Holiday Walk on Sat. Dec 7.

nbCC Monthly Forum: “Invisible Crises – Vaping and Alcohol Use in North Berkshire”, 10am-12, Fri, Nov 8, 85 Main St.

The goals of Northern Berkshire Community Coalition’s monthly forum are to 1) Raise awareness about incidence and impacts of alcohol misuse and vaping in our region; 2) Talk about why people are misusing alcohol and vaping products; and 3) Learn about the supports for harm reduction, quitting, and recovery.  Forum takes place 10am-noon, Fri, Nov 8, at The Green, 85 Main St, N. Adams.

We will be conducting a short poll, so please bring your smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Also note that the organizers of the Al Nelson Friendship Center Food Pantry at 45 Eagle Street ask friends who attend the nbCC forums to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the pantry.
