Images Cinema celebrating Fresh Fest: Many Forks Farm, Bigfoot Farm, Cricket Creek Farm, 6:15pm on Mon, 6/3 & Tue, 6/4

Images invites the community to meet local farmers before the screening of The Biggest Little Farm at 6:15 pm on Mon, June 3 & Tue, June 4.  Taste their products, talk farming, celebrate local food… all part of Fresh Fest festival. On Monday, enjoy a Cookie Reception featuring Clarksburg Bread Co. cookies & Cricket Creek Farm milk
Film at 7pm, followed by discussion with farmer Sharon Wyrrick. Deb Burns of Storey Publishing will ask Sharon about starting Many Forks Farm.

Tuesday, June 4
6:15pm: Farmers Reception
7pm: Film- The Biggest Little Farm followed by discussion:
Join farmers Brian Cole of Bigfoot Farm, Megan Bantle of Fullwell Farm, and Topher Sabot of Cricket Creek Farm at a pre-film reception featuring veggies and cheese from their farms! Then stay after the film for conversation with Sarah Gardiner, Director of the Center for Environmental Studies, and the farmers about their own experiences starting out.

Hoosac Harvest’s: Annual Seeding Swap – 10am-1pm, Sat, June 1, 85 Main St., N.Adams

Community members are invited to bring seedlings to swap or come without seedlings & choose FREE seedlings for your spring gardens. Bring a tray to collect the baby plants! Donations are encouraged & go toward subsidizing CSA shares. Seedling Swap takes place Saturday, June 1, 10am-1pm at 85 Main St., North Adams.


The Clark needs Summer Family Day helpers on Sunday, July 7!

The Clark’s Sensational! Summer Family Day is a free day of outdoor artmaking, entertainment, and activities that celebrates the museum’s extraordinary summer exhibitions. They need volunteers to help with the artmaking!We could use you on Sunday, July 7 – to do anything from working with artmaking projects, assisting with performances and wayfinding, or staffing our info tent. Two-hour volunteer shifts available throughout the day from 10:30-12:30, 12:30-2:30,and 2:30-4:30. No experience necessary – sign up with a friend and enjoy the day together!

Rolling Thunder Revue Exclusive Screening- 7 pm, Tue, June 11 at the Triplex, Great Barrington

Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese, this exclusive screening at the Triplex Cinema in Great Barrington will be one of only a few dozen cinemas in the world to screen  This event is planned in collaboration with the Berkshire International Film Festival to bring alternative programming to the community.

Producers are touting: “Truth and myth are blurred in Martin Scorsese’s film experience about Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue tour in the fall of 1975.”

Dylan author Seth Rogovoy will be on hand to host the evening, providing brief introductory remarks and moderating a post-screening Q&A.
