FREE & open to public 6pm, THU. DEC 10, the 1st panel will feature artists Nick CaveShaun LeonardoSteve Locke, and Xaviera Simmons. Visit massmoca.org/in-session for more info. Topics for discussion include: What is trauma and what do we mean when speaking of Black trauma? Who holds permission to use images of violence against Black and Brown bodies? Who grants this permission? What are an art institution’s responsibilities toward audiences when hosting work regarding violence enacted against Black and Brown bodies?

75% voter turnout in W’town. Greene handily wins W’town voter approval for 2 yr seat on Mt. Greylock School Comm.

In W’town, 3, 650 voters cast ballots (approx 4800 registered voters). Carrie Greene won W’town vote 2,072 to Lizzy Beck’s 791 votes for the 2 year seat on Mt. Greylock RSD school committee.  W’town voters said yes to Ballot Q2: Ranked voting: 2,228 to 1,226 against.  Ballot Q1 won handily as well.
