Leadership Studies professor Justin Crowe conducted a live interview with Mr. Barry in Griffin Hall, during which the journalist shared stories about his travels, research and writing process for his popular column, "This Land".

Part of Claiming Williams 2016. Two of the four women of the New Jersey Four Case (2006) share their story. In 2006 they were arrested after fighting off a violent attack. Charged with gang assault and attempted murder, they were bashed by media and deemed a “Gang of Killer Lesbians.” The film "Out in the Night" documented their trials, the protest against their convictions and their release. The film also reveals how their race, gender identity and sexuality became criminalized and were used by the justice system to imprison them.
